  • To raise awareness of contributions the horse industry provides in Los Angeles.

  • Planned and hosted the 1st ever equestrian City Council Candidate Forum.
  • Created the Equestrian Bill of Rights now ready for formal adoption.
  • Working to make reclaimed water available for arena watering.
  • Recognition of horse manure as a recyclable resource, not trash.
  • Through its license drive, greatly increased the official LA horse census.

Make Your Voice Heard

Four hundred and fifty nine (459) people have asked to receive the Los Angeles Horse Council newsletter, using this web site. Several hundred more have signed copies of the Equestrian Bill of Rights for submission this summer to the LA City Council. Many of those signatures and addresses are illegible. If you see this message and have interest in following the Los Angeles Horse Council quest to protect horses, horse people, horse venues and horse communities in perpetuity, please register on line for the newsletter, so we can read your information.
